![]() Kevin HuangFirst Place - Junior Division - NPC Washington Ironman Hi my name is Kevin Huang, from Seattle. I am 20 years old and currently a senior at University of Washington Seattle. I am a biology major and pre dental student at the time, but outside of my studies I enjoy training and pushing myself at the gym. I enjoy seeing results at the gym. I started consistent training during my sophomore year of college putting on about 25 lbs of lean mass. My motivation to train initially started with being tired of seen as lanky, thin hardgainer at 135 lbs and 6 foot. With advice from friends at the gym and the endless food consumption I managed to put on some solid mass. However during the summer of 2010 at my home gym a friend of mine introduced me to Scott Kluth a natural pro bodybuilder. He asked if I would like to do a show and the next upcoming show would be the 2010 Max Muscle NPC Washington Ironman, which was 5 weeks away. Since I have never considered competing I was skeptical. However he wasted no time as the show around the corner, and immediately came up with meal plans and training schedules for me. Through him I have a total different definition of training intensity and nutrition which I now apply heavily to my current training. I ended up placing first in the junior division of the Ironman championships of my first show. I am thankful for Scott’s willingness to help and happy to have made a new friend. I am very pleased with the results I was able to achieved from just 5 total weeks of dieting and preparing for Ironman! I have learned tons from training and apply the discipline and consistency to my daily life goals. Goals: As of now I am aiming to put on more muscle mass to compete in the future, I am currently supplementing with Max Pro protein and really find this protein amazing! I also enjoy Max Vitacell liquid multi-vitamins. My diet consists of high carbs, moderate protein and low fat. Also getting into dental school! Advice: My advice to others is to stay consistent and don’t give up when results aren’t seen instantaneously, with proper nutrition and intense training, results will shock you!
